Founded in 2000 as the Committee of 100 Cultural Institute, the US-China Cultural Institute inaugurated its new status in 2007 as an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with its own officers and directors. It will continue its association with the Committee of 100 as its cultural associate builds on the recognition and equity established in both China and the U.S. by the former Committee of 100 Cultural Institute.

The mission of the new organization remains to create bridges of understanding through the arts and education, believing that these are important means to bring the necessary human understanding between China and the West for peaceful world relations.

Under its new structure, the new organization will build on past achievements and relationships, continuing internationally recognized cultural exchange programs with prominent artists from around the world to:
set up a ¡°bridge¡± of understanding between China and the West
provide opportunity for people of Chinese heritage to achieve their highest potential
assist artists of Chinese heritage to help further their careers

The US-China Cultural Institute is an independent 501(c)(3) organization and its efforts are supported by donations. Tax-deductible contributions can be made online or by sending checks to:
